Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces Asim Munir visited National Defence University and addressed graduating officers of the National Security and War Course.

During his address, Field Marshal Asim Munir spoke about the changing nature of modern warfare and stressed the importance of strategic understanding, professional excellence and strong institutions to deal with emerging challenges.
He praised the role of NDU in preparing future military and civilian leaders capable of responding to hybrid, conventional and unconventional threats with confidence and effective planning.
The army chief said Pakistan’s armed forces are continuously adapting their strategies and capabilities according to the evolving security environment.
He highlighted that hostile elements and their networks were attempting to create instability in Pakistan, but such efforts would not succeed in damaging the country’s security and economic progress.
Asim Munir said terrorism originating from across the borders would be dealt with through the full strength of the state. He added that terrorist networks, their facilitators and support structures would be targeted and dismantled.
He emphasized that victories in conflicts are not achieved through statements or slogans but through unity, discipline, determination and national resolve.
Addressing the graduating officers, the Field Marshal expressed confidence in the professionalism, morale and operational readiness of Pakistan’s armed forces.
He urged the officers to uphold the values of integrity, dedication and selfless service while performing their responsibilities for the country.
