According to a statement from Pakistan’s Foreign Office on Friday, Dar met Sharif and congratulated him on his appointment as the country’s next ambassador to Germany.
During the meeting, the deputy prime minister emphasised the importance of further strengthening bilateral relations, particularly through enhanced economic cooperation, trade partnerships and investment opportunities.
Dar highlighted the need for Pakistan’s diplomatic mission in Germany to play an active role in building stronger economic connections between the two countries.
