The district administration of Islamabad has announced revised operational timings for markets, transport services, and public recreational facilities across the federal capital. The new measures aim to regulate commercial activity while ensuring continued public convenience and access to essential services.
According to the administration, all types of public and goods transport have been granted permission to enter the city. This decision is expected to ease movement of commuters and supply chains across Islamabad. However, officials confirmed that the Faizabad bus terminal will remain closed until further notice. At the same time, all other bus stands across the city have been reopened, restoring broader connectivity for passengers.
In a significant development for residents and tourists, hiking trails in the Margalla Hills will be reopened from tomorrow. Nature lovers and fitness enthusiasts will once again be able to access the popular Margalla hiking tracks. Additionally, Daman-e-Koh and all major parks across Islamabad have also been reopened for the public, offering renewed recreational opportunities for families and visitors.
Under the updated schedule, all markets and shopping malls in Islamabad will close daily at 8:00 PM. The administration has emphasized that this timing will be strictly enforced to ensure smooth regulation of commercial activity in the city.
