The incursion follows a similar operation a day earlier, when more than 15 Israeli military vehicles entered the village of Al Ashah in the southern part of Quneitra province, according to the Syrian state news agency. The news agency reported that Israeli forces searched a house and a warehouse during that operation before withdrawing from the village.

The repeated incursions into Quneitra province villages add to a pattern of Israeli military activity along the border area in recent months, as troops have conducted a series of search operations and checkpoint deployments inside Syrian territory near the frontier.
