Officials said the train will not depart from Quetta today or tomorrow as maintenance teams carry out necessary repairs to the track. The temporary suspension aims to facilitate repair and maintenance work and ensure safe train operations.
Railway authorities said passengers who have already purchased tickets for the affected journeys will receive refunds. Passengers have been advised to contact railway booking offices or relevant officials to process their refunds.
Meanwhile, the Jaffar Express service arriving from Peshawar has also been curtailed. Instead of continuing to Quetta, the train will operate only up to Jacobabad during the track maintenance period.
