Two months on, Baldoni’s former co-stars from Jane the Virgin have come out publicly in his support.
Gina Rodriguez and Brett Dier, who starred alongside Baldoni on the hit show, left warm comments after he shared his first video since the settlement. The post, uploaded to Instagram on Wednesday, showed Baldoni and his wife, Emily, opening up about how hard the last two years have been for their family.
Gina commented, “love you friends. Por vida.” Brett kept it just as simple, writing, “I love you guys.”
In the video, Baldoni admitted the couple had stayed quiet for a reason. “We have not spoken publicly for the better part of the last two years, and it’s not because we haven’t had anything to say,” he said.
Neither of them named Blake Lively directly, but they made it clear the legal battle had taken a real toll on them, describing the last two years as painful and difficult to get through.
