ISPR Confirms Two Separate Operations Against Fitna-al-Hindustan in Balochistan
RAWALPINDI/QUETTA : Security forces killed four terrorists belonging to Indian-proxy group *Fitna-al-Hindustan* in Kalat district, while *Major Wajahat Waheed, 34, embraced martyrdom* in an IED blast during a clearance operation in Gwadar, ISPR confirmed.
*Operation in Kalat – Jatuk Abad*
According to ISPR, on *October 18*, security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in *Jatuk Abad area of Kalat* on reported presence of Fitna-al-Hindustan terrorists.
During the operation, troops effectively engaged the terrorist location. After an intense exchange of fire, *four terrorists were killed*. A large cache of weapons, ammunition and explosives was recovered.
Sources said the killed terrorists were involved in attacks on security forces and civilians in Kalat, Mangocher and Surab.
*Operation in Gwadar – Shadi Kor – Major Martyred*
In a separate operation in *Shadi Kor area of Gwadar*, security forces launched clearance operations against terrorist hideouts.
During the operation, security forces were targeted with an *Improvised Explosive Device (IED)* planted by terrorists.
*Major Wajahat Waheed, resident of Lahore, embraced Shahadat in the blast.*
Major Wajahat, 34, was leading his troops from the front. He is survived by his wife, parents and children. His funeral will be held in Lahore with full military honours.

> “Security forces effectively engaged terrorist hideouts. Clearance operations will continue to eliminate any other terrorists present in the area. Security forces and law enforcement agencies are determined to eliminate foreign-sponsored terrorism under Azm-e-Istehkam.”
Prime Minister, President, COAS Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and Interior Minister have paid tribute to the martyred officer, saying his sacrifice will further strengthen the nation’s resolve against terrorism.
Search operations are still underway in Kalat and Gwadar.
