In the first incident, a 42-year-old man was wounded by gunfire near Falak Shadi Lawn in the Number One area of Soldier Bazaar. Police identified the injured man as Nauman, son of Yaseen.

According to police, the incident occurred during an alleged robbery when the victim reportedly resisted the attackers. He was taken to Civil Hospital Karachi for medical treatment.

Police said an investigation into the incident was underway, while authorities were working to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting and identify those responsible.

In a separate incident, a nine-year-old girl was injured by a bullet in Orangi Town’s Sector 11½, Street 4.

The injured girl was identified as Nayab, daughter of Shehzad. According to police, she was struck by a bullet that apparently came from an unknown direction.

The girl was also taken to Civil Hospital for treatment. Police have launched an inquiry to establish the source of the bullet and determine whether the shooting was linked to any other incident in the area.

The two incidents occurred at different locations and are being investigated separately by the relevant police authorities.

Firing incidents involving civilians remain a serious concern in densely populated parts of Karachi, particularly when stray bullets put residents at risk.
