The Met Office’s early warning forecast indicates that the city is likely to remain under the influence of moist sea winds, contributing to high humidity levels and warm temperatures. Weather experts predict that maximum temperatures during the three-day period will range between 34°C and 36°C.

The forecast also suggests that strong winds may blow occasionally, particularly during the afternoon and evening hours. Additionally, light drizzle or brief showers are expected during nighttime and early morning hours in some parts of the city, providing temporary relief from the heat.

According to meteorologists, the prevailing winds will continue to blow from the southwest over the Arabian Sea, maintaining Karachi’s typical coastal weather pattern. While temperatures are not expected to reach extreme levels, the combination of heat and humidity may cause the weather to feel warmer than the actual temperature.

The weather department has advised citizens to stay hydrated, avoid unnecessary outdoor activities during peak afternoon hours, and take precautions against heat-related illnesses. People working outdoors are particularly encouraged to drink plenty of water and seek shade whenever possible.

These conditions are typical during the monsoon transition period when moisture from the sea increases cloud cover and humidity levels.
