Kelly Clarkson says goodbye to her talk show with emotional finale

Kelly Clarkson has officially brought her daytime talk show, The Kelly Clarkson Show, to an end after seven successful seasons, marking the close of an important chapter in her television career.

The 44-year-old singer and songwriter said farewell to the show on Monday, August 31, ending the program in a way that felt especially fitting for a series that became known for its popular musical segment, “Kellyoke.”

For the final episode, Clarkson returned to the stage to perform songs requested by her fans. The special edition of “Kelly by Request” gave viewers an opportunity to hear some of the tracks they had been asking the singer to perform throughout the show’s seven-season run. Clarkson also shared personal stories and reflected on the memorable moments she had experienced with her audience.

The singer later delivered a performance of “Golden,” the hit song from KPop Demon Hunters. Before taking on the challenging track, Clarkson acknowledged just how demanding the song was vocally.

Following his death, Clarkson faced major personal responsibilities while continuing to balance her professional career. She ultimately decided to step away from the demanding daytime television schedule so she could devote more time and attention to her two children, River Rose and Remington Alexander.
