Kerosene oil price hiked by Rs17.35 per litre

The government has increased the price of kerosene oil by Rs17.35 per litre, adding to the cost burden on consumers amid continued changes in petroleum product prices.

The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) issued a notification on the revised price, setting the new rate of kerosene oil at Rs324.35 per litre.

Kerosene oil was previously available at Rs307 per litre. The latest increase means consumers will now have to pay significantly more for the fuel, with the price rising by more than Rs17 per litre.

The price revision is expected to affect households and other consumers who rely on kerosene oil for cooking and other basic needs, particularly in areas where access to alternative energy sources remains limited.
