Kris Jenner is also shown becoming emotional while discussing Kim’s diagnosis and its connection to the family’s past.

Robert Kardashian’s death had a lasting impact on his family. Kim and her relatives have since supported efforts to raise awareness about esophageal health and cancer.

The family also helped establish the UCLA Robert G. Kardashian Center for Esophageal Health in Los Angeles in 2019. Kim has previously spoken about the center and its role in helping people receive specialized treatment.

In an earlier episode of The Kardashians, Kim said she believed her late father would have been proud of the family’s efforts to help others through advances in medical care.

The new season will also explore the personal and professional lives of Kris, Kourtney, Kim, Khloé, Kendall and Kylie Jenner.

According to Hulu’s official description, the upcoming season will focus on relationships, personal growth, family matters and new beginnings.

Season eight of The Kardashians is scheduled to premiere on October 8.
