Kim Kardashian’s household once had a team of 24 employees, offering a glimpse into the extensive support system behind the reality star and businesswoman’s busy lifestyle.

Author Jonathan Van Meter shared the details in his new biography, Citizen Kim: The Woman Who Created the Future, which explores Kardashian’s career, personal life and growing business empire.

Recalling a previous visit to Kardashian’s home for an interview with Vogue, Van Meter told The Hollywood Reporter that the property was filled with staff members.

He said he spotted a whiteboard in the garage listing the names of 24 employees. Ten of them were marked as being on duty that day.

The household team included nannies, housekeepers, chefs and personal assistants, who were responsible for managing different aspects of daily life.

Van Meter also described seeing a staff member cleaning the floors from a distance. The scene reminded him of the British royal household depicted in Netflix’s The Crown, where palace staff are frequently shown maintaining the royal residence.

Despite the scale of the operation, the author said Kardashian’s home did not leave him with an uncomfortable impression of extreme wealth. Instead, he described the atmosphere as warm.

However, he also pointed to the security surrounding her lifestyle, noting that the property was located behind multiple gates in Hidden Hills and protected by armed guards.

Van Meter described the arrangement as a bubble, highlighting the contrast between the welcoming atmosphere inside the home and the security measures surrounding it.
