KP CM meets opposition leaders over Sept 27 March

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi held a meeting with opposition leaders Mahmood Khan Achakzai and Allama Nasir Abbas to discuss the opposition’s upcoming political activities and future strategy.

According to a spokesperson, the meeting focused on preparations for the September 27 march and the broader political course of action that opposition parties plan to adopt in the coming days.

The leaders also discussed the political situation in Punjab and expressed concern over what they described as actions against political workers in the province. They condemned the measures and called for an end to what they viewed as pressure on political activists.

Meanwhile, the opposition alliance has convened a high-level meeting of the Tehreek Tahafuz Aain-e-Pakistan (TTAP) for today to deliberate on important political matters.

The spokesperson said the meeting would focus on the alliance’s future decisions, including the proposed long march and other aspects of its joint political strategy.

The meeting is expected to provide a platform for opposition leaders to coordinate their positions and discuss the next steps in their political campaign. The alliance will also review the prevailing political situation and consider a unified approach to its upcoming activities.
