Kurram officials discuss security and peace measures

PARACHINAR: Newly appointed Commander of 73 Brigade, Brigadier Hisham bin Asghar, met with District Police Officer (DPO) Kurram Malik Habib Khan at the DPO Office in Parachinar on Tuesday and discussed the prevailing law and order situation, security arrangements and mutual cooperation.

During the meeting, the two officers held detailed discussions on the current security situation in Kurram, coordination between the Kurram Police and Pakistan Army, joint security arrangements, protection of sensitive locations, safeguarding the lives and property of the people, and measures to further improve law and order in the district.

DPO Kurram Malik Habib Khan briefed Brigadier Hisham bin Asghar on the measures being taken by Kurram Police to maintain peace, prevent crime and ensure the protection of the public.

Both officers expressed their commitment to strengthening coordination, mutual cooperation and joint strategies between the police and Pakistan Army for maintaining peace and security in the district.

Later, DPO Malik Habib Khan accompanied Brigadier Hisham bin Asghar on an inspection of various sections of the under-construction DPO Office. He was briefed about the ongoing construction work, different departments and plans aimed at improving the administrative functioning of the police in the future.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both officers reiterated their commitment to extending all possible cooperation for sustainable peace, protection of the lives and property of the people, and ensuring the rule of law in Kurram.
