LAHORE: Laam Fashion Week (LFW) is set to return for its second edition from October 23 to 26, bringing together more than 50 established fashion labels, independent designers and emerging talent for four days of runway showcases.

The event will feature 43 shows, offering a platform for established names, contemporary and high-street brands, manufacturing businesses and retail-ready labels to present their latest collections.

According to the organisers, the fashion week will open with LFW Presents: Starry Night, a showcase featuring 21 designers. Each designer will present one look inspired by the beauty and allure of the night sky.

Another highlight will be a collaboration with the Pakistan Institute of Fashion and Design (PIFD), which will introduce 10 young designers to the runway through capsule collections.

The event will also feature LFW Edit, dedicated to high-street fashion labels. Several participating brands will make their fashion week debut through Laam. These include Almirah, Aramis Haijaan, Beygum Bano, Collected XX, Dhundli Zameen, Dreams of Arthur, Edenrobe Ceremonial, Hathghar, KIBO, Project 1959, Sadhbarg and U&I – Umer Imrana.

Individual showcases by some of Pakistan’s leading designers will be another major attraction. The participating names include Ali Xeeshan, Deepak Perwani, Duno by Hassan and Yahsir Waheed, Emraan Rajput, Erum Khan, Fahad Hussayn, HSY, Jugnu Studios by Hussain Rehar, MIHHA, Mo by Mohsin Tawasuli, Mohtaram, Parishae Adnan, Rici Melion, Saira Rizwan, Sania Maskatiya and Souchaj by Mehak Junaid.

Veteran designer Nilofer Shahid will headline this edition’s exclusive LFW By Invite Only showcase. Her label, Meeras, will present a collection titled Tapestries in the Looms of Time. The segment featured designer Rizwan Beyg during the inaugural edition.

LFW will also spotlight emerging commercial brands through LFW Retail Runway. The showcase will feature 12 labels participating in the second round of the event’s Ramp Readiness Programme, which aims to help businesses prepare for the retail market.

Designer Hassan Sheheryar Yasin will direct the four-day event in Lahore. Continuing its runway-to-e-tail approach introduced last year, Laam will livestream the shows through its app, allowing audiences worldwide to purchase featured designs. The shows will also be streamed on ARY Plus.

Laam CEO Arif Iqbal said the platform aimed to introduce Pakistani fashion to international audiences by making local designs accessible to shoppers worldwide.

Co-founder Amir Iqbal emphasised that the runway was only the beginning. He said the wider objective was to help designers connect with customers, turn collections into commercial opportunities and reach broader markets.

With its expanded line-up and focus on both creative talent and retail opportunities, the second edition aims to strengthen the connection between Pakistan’s fashion industry and global consumers.
