Madonna stays mysterious on Kylie Minogue collaboration

Madonna has playfully dodged questions about whether Kylie Minogue will feature on her forthcoming album, Confession II, keeping fans guessing rather than confirming or denying the speculation.
On Friday, June 26, the 67 year old singer appeared on The Graham Norton Show on BBC, which took an unexpected turn when Minogue herself walked out and sat close to Madonna during the segment.
Norton put the rumour directly to Madonna, asking if there were truth to claims that Minogue features on Confession II, and whether her appearance on the show was effectively a confirmation. Rather than answering directly, Madonna told the host that it is her job to be mysterious, a response that left Minogue laughing and prompted her to remark that Madonna is good at deflecting.
The conversation then shifted to a warmer trip down memory lane, as the two singers reminisced about performing together in Los Angeles in May 2024 during Madonna’s Celebration Tour, when they performed Minogue’s hit song Can’t Get You Out of My Head. Minogue described the performance as a wonderful moment that she absolutely loved.
Confession II, also known as Confessions on a Dance Floor: Part II, is Madonna’s fifteenth studio album and serves as a sequel to her acclaimed 2005 record. The album is set for release on July 3, 2026, via Warner Records.
While Madonna kept the Minogue question firmly under wraps, her appearance on the show offered fans another small piece of the puzzle as anticipation continues to build ahead of the album’s release.
