Mega “Jashan-e-Marka-e-Haq” rocks Barcelona with massive overseas turnout

A large and historic ceremony titled “Jashan-e-Marka-e-Haq” was held in Barcelona under the auspices of the EU Pak Friendship

Barcelona, Spain — A large and historic ceremony titled “Jashan-e-Marka-e-Haq” was held in Barcelona under the auspices of the EU Pak Friendship Federation Spain. The event was organised to mark the completion of Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos and is being described as one of the biggest gatherings of overseas Pakistanis in Europe.

Thousands of overseas Pakistanis, members of the Kashmiri community, and participants from Arab countries attended the event. The ceremony was marked by strong enthusiasm and emotional expressions of solidarity with Pakistan.

Participants carried large national flags of Pakistan and Kashmir. Portraits of Chief of Defence Forces General Syed Asim Munir were also prominently displayed throughout the venue. The atmosphere was filled with patriotic slogans such as “Pakistan Zindabad,” “Pak Army Zindabad,” and “Field Marshal General Syed Asim Munir Zindabad.”

The chief guest, Chairman of EU Pak Friendship Federation Europe, Dr. Pervaiz Iqbal Lohsar (Tamgha-e-Khidmat), addressed the gathering. He stated that Pakistan’s armed forces responded strongly to Indian aggression in 2025 and successfully foiled hostile intentions. He paid tribute to the armed forces and particularly praised the leadership of General Syed Asim Munir.

Dr. Lohsar further claimed that during the situation, the Pakistan Air Force effectively responded and downed multiple enemy aircraft, while the Pakistan Navy maintained strong defensive positioning and kept hostile naval movement away from strategic waters.

He added that Pakistan remains committed to peace in the region. However, he emphasized that any future aggression would be met with a decisive and powerful response by the country’s armed forces.

The event was chaired by President of EU Pak Friendship Federation Spain Kamran Khan. President of EU Pak Friendship Federation Portugal Syed Qasim Sajjad Shah also attended as a special guest. Prominent Kashmiri youth leader Raja Hasnain was also present among other community representatives.

The organizing committee included several community figures from different regions, including Mehr Afzal, Chaudhry Mian Khan, Mian Atif Nazir, Mehr Nawaz, Chaudhry Qurban Marhana, Raja Mudassar Bolani, Chaudhry Aziz Amrah, Chaudhry Saleem Langrial, and Chaudhry Muhammad Iqbal.
