Mini Mathur is looking back on her journey after being crowned the winner of Alliance. The 50-year-old actress recently sat down for a candid chat about her time on the show.
Speaking with the team of Varinder Chawla, Mathur described her experience on the unscripted format as “superbly exciting.” She did not hold back while reflecting on the highs and lows of the competition.
She admitted she joined the show to push herself out of her comfort zone. Having hosted several reality formats before, this marked her first time competing as an actual contestant.
Mathur confessed she initially doubted whether she’d fit into the format at all. She said Alliance turned out to be built around physical games, tasks, quizzes and leadership skills, particularly around keeping teams united.
She explained that the absence of a previous season made the challenge more appealing to her. With no blueprint to follow, she felt it was the right moment to test herself in unfamiliar territory.
Her first real test, she said, was simply figuring out if she could survive even one day inside the format. The moment she stepped into the space, though, her doubts faded quickly.
Mathur revealed she spent six weeks completely cut off from her phone and calendar. She said the isolation left her mind sharper, her strategies clearer, and her focus stronger than before.
She added that she is walking away from the experience feeling better than ever, crediting the win itself for part of that. Beyond the trophy, she said she formed genuine friendships and picked up fresh insights into industries like gaming and streaming.
Mathur was also quick to clarify that she holds no grudges against any of her fellow contestants. She said she valued every ally she crossed paths with during her time in the house.
She closed the conversation on a firmly positive note, saying she has nothing negative to say about the entire experience. For Mathur, the journey seems to have been as rewarding personally as it was competitively.
