ISLAMABAD: The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has announced the latest application procedure, fee structure, and delivery timelines for issuing Juvenile Cards to children under the age of 18, making it easier for parents and legal guardians to obtain official identity documents.

Under the updated process, a child must first be registered with NADRA before a Juvenile Card application can be submitted. Once the registration is completed, the applicant receives a token to begin the card issuance process.

During the application, the child’s photograph and fingerprints are collected, while biometric verification of the father, mother, or legal guardian is mandatory. After the applicant’s information is entered into the system, an approval officer reviews and verifies the details before the card is issued upon payment of the prescribed fee.

Applications may be submitted by either parent or a legal guardian. Required documents and information include the parents’ biometric verification, a registered mobile number, email address, and the child’s computerized birth certificate details.

NADRA has introduced three service options for applicants. The Normal service costs Rs750 and delivers the card within 31 days, while the Urgent service is available for Rs1,500 with a delivery time of 23 days. Those requiring quicker processing can opt for the Executive service, which costs Rs2,500 and provides the Juvenile Card within 9 days.
