Reacting to the Supreme Court’s decision concerning PTI founder Imran Khan, Butt said the former opposition party’s founder and chairman had already reached the point where he was destined to go.
The PML-N senator expressed suspicion that efforts could once again be underway to create political instability for the Nawaz Sharif government. He suggested that the current political situation could be part of a broader attempt to undermine the ruling party.
Butt also recalled what he described as repeated political conspiracies against Nawaz Sharif. He said Nawaz Sharif had managed to return to politics each time, while those who allegedly plotted against him eventually remained behind.
