Nina Khan Mashriqi honoured with Star of Pakistan Award in London

London – On the occasion of Pakistan’s 79th Independence Day, a grand ceremony of the Pakistan Achievement Award International 2026 was held in London, where internationally acclaimed scholar Allama Mashriqi’s granddaughter, internationally award-winning businesswoman and social activist Nina Khan Mashriqi, was honored with the prestigious Star of Pakistan Award.

The ceremony was organized by Samara Events UK, and several internationally renowned personalities from different fields were also presented with awards in recognition of their outstanding services.

Nina Khan Mashriqi received the Star of Pakistan Award in recognition of her efforts to promote Pakistan’s image internationally, raise her voice for the oppressed around the world, including the people of Kashmir and Palestine, advocate for women’s rights, serve humanity, promote business activities, and play a prominent role in charitable and welfare initiatives.

It is worth mentioning that Nina Khan Mashriqi is one of Pakistan’s most distinguished women, having received numerous international awards in recognition of her outstanding achievements and services around the world. Recently, she was also honored with the International Women Leadership Excellence Award at the British Asians Who’s Who Power 100 Awards 2026, organized by Samara Events UK.Nina Khan Mashriqi was also featured among the 100 most influential personalities in Samara Events UK’s British Asians Who’s Who Power 100 Magazine, where she was placed in the top position.

She also has the distinction of organizing a successful fundraising event in the United Kingdom approximately two years ago, attended by around 800 guests, to raise funds for the oppressed people of Gaza and Palestine. The funds were used to support children who had lost their limbs and legs during the war.Nina Khan Mashriqi has also contributed to humanitarian causes in Pakistan, including arranging free treatment for 3,000 cataract patients, supporting the construction of free hospitals for underprivileged people, and providing financial assistance to numerous charitable organizations and foundations working for social welfare.

Expressing her happiness upon receiving the award, Nina Khan Mashriqi said that the honors are recognition of her national, patriotic, and public services, which is a great honor for her. She said, “Our endeavor is to make Pakistan proud around the world and to extend full support to our Pakistani and Kashmiri brothers and sisters, as well as oppressed people in every part of the world.”

She added, “Serving humanity was also the mission of my late grandfather, Allama Mashriqi, and I am carrying that mission forward. God willing, I will continue this journey of service with the same national and patriotic spirit.”
