Noel and Liam Gallagher have delighted Oasis fans with an emotional public reunion at the 2026 Venice Film Festival, where the famously feuding brothers appeared together on the red carpet ahead of the premiere of their highly anticipated Netflix documentary.

The Oasis frontmen made a surprise appearance at the 83rd annual International Exhibition of Cinematographic Art on Saturday, September 5. Their appearance quickly became one of the most talked-about moments of the festival as the brothers posed side by side with their arms around each other.

One of its biggest attractions is the brothers’ first joint interview since their lengthy estrangement. Their conversation provides insight into their relationship and the events that eventually brought them back together.

Noel and Liam’s rivalry has been one of the most famous sibling feuds in music. Their disagreements became increasingly public during Oasis’ rise to international fame in the 1990s, with tensions frequently spilling over during tours and backstage encounters.

Their relationship ultimately reached breaking point in 2009 after a major confrontation at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris. Noel subsequently announced his departure from Oasis, saying he could no longer continue working with his brother.
