NSYNC star Lance Bass drops bittersweet fatherhood update

Lance Bass is getting candid about one of the most rewarding chapters of his life: being a father. The NSYNC star recently shared a bittersweet update about raising his four-year-old twins, Alexander and Violet, with husband Michael Turchin.

During the August 12 premiere party for Cocktail Wars in New York, Bass opened up about life with his children. While the singer is clearly enjoying every moment of fatherhood, he also admitted that watching his twins grow up comes with an emotional side.

Bass and Turchin welcomed their twins, Violet Betty and Alexander James, in October 2021 through a surrogate. The couple had previously faced years of challenges while trying to become parents, including a pregnancy loss, making the arrival of their children especially meaningful. (ABC News⁠)

His latest comments also highlight the close bond he shares with his twins. Bass and Turchin have frequently given fans glimpses into their family life, from celebrating birthdays to sharing the personalities of their children.

When the twins were babies, Turchin described Violet as more strong-willed and outspoken, while Alexander was more relaxed and gentle.
