Pakistan emerges as global peace broker, says Ishaq Dar

Lahore: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar said Pakistan is a peace-loving country and those who dream of isolating Pakistan have faced disappointment and humiliation. He said every country in the world now recognizes Pakistan’s name and importance.

Speaking to the media in Lahore, Dar stated that if anyone casts an evil eye on Pakistan, the country is fully capable of defending itself and responding strongly to any aggression.

He said Pakistan has emerged as a peacemaker on the global stage and that, during the conflict between the United States and Iran, Pakistan played an important role in efforts aimed at reducing tensions and promoting peace.

Dar credited Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s leadership for these diplomatic achievements, adding that Pakistan’s name is now echoing across the world. He also praised Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir for his tireless efforts in promoting peace and stability.

The Deputy Prime Minister said that today the world recognizes Pakistan as a champion of peace and that Allah has granted the country a unique position in the international community. He added that the entire nation is grateful for the respect and recognition Pakistan has received globally.

He further stated that Pakistan’s role in mediation helped ensure peace and stability in the region, and that the country’s image as a peacemaker continues to strengthen internationally.

Dar also emphasized that Pakistan is a responsible nuclear power and said both the Prime Minister and the Field Marshal worked day and night in support of peace efforts.
