Pakistan invites bids for one spot LNG cargo

Pakistan has invited international companies to submit bids for the purchase of one spot liquefied natural gas (LNG) cargo, Pakistan LNG Limited (PLL) said.

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has invited international companies to submit bids for the purchase of one spot liquefied natural gas (LNG) cargo, Pakistan LNG Limited (PLL) said.

According to PLL, the government has decided to procure one spot LNG shipment to meet the country’s energy requirements.

International companies have been asked to submit their bids by tomorrow, with the bids scheduled to be opened on the same day, PLL said.

The LNG cargo is required for delivery between September 4 and September 8, according to the tender.

The tender is part of the government’s efforts to ensure adequate LNG supplies during the specified period.
