Pakistan Navy, in coordination with the Pakistan Maritime Security Agency (PMSA), has successfully rescued all 20 Pakistani crew members from a cargo dhow that was in danger of sinking near Ormara.
The rescue operation was launched after a distress call was received by the Joint Maritime Information Coordination Centre. Following the emergency alert, Pakistan Navy’s ship PNS HUNAIN and aerial support units were diverted to the location to carry out the rescue mission.
The rescue teams successfully evacuated all crew members from the heavily flooded vessel. Officials said the operation was carried out efficiently due to the professionalism and timely response of the rescue personnel.
The rescued individuals are being provided with necessary medical assistance and care after being brought to safety.
