PM praises security forces after Operation Shaaban success

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has commended Pakistan’s security forces for the successful progress of Operation Shaaban, praising their efforts against militants involved in acts of terrorism.

In a statement, the prime minister said the ongoing grand operation against *Fitna al-Khawarij* has so far resulted in the elimination of **75 militants**. He described the operation as a significant step in strengthening the country’s fight against terrorism and protecting national security.

Shehbaz Sharif also praised the Pakistan Army and the Frontier Corps (FC) for successfully repelling a militant attack on a police station in Khuzdar. He said the swift response of the security personnel prevented the attackers from achieving their objectives and reflected the forces’ professionalism and determination.

The prime minister reaffirmed that Pakistan’s resolve to eliminate *Fitna al-Khawarij* remains unwavering. He said the government, security institutions, and the nation stand united in their mission to eradicate terrorism and restore lasting peace across the country.

He added that the government will continue taking decisive action against terrorist groups and will not allow any attempt to undermine peace and stability in Balochistan. The prime minister also said the entire nation stands firmly with its armed forces and police in the ongoing fight against terrorism.
