Dera Ismail Khan: Acting Vice Chancellor of Gomal University, Prof. Dr. Naimatullah Babar, took immediate notice of the internship issue being faced by students of the BS Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) program and, accompanied by Registrar Imranullah Khan Marwat, paid an urgent visit to the IDC Peshawar Branch on Friday, July 17, 2026.
During the visit, the Acting Vice Chancellor and the Registrar met with the management of IDC Peshawar Branch and held detailed discussions regarding the internship-related challenges faced by BS MLT students. Keeping the students’ academic interests in view, various proposals were considered to ensure a prompt, effective, and long-term resolution of the issue. The IDC management also assured its full cooperation in this regard.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Dr. Naimatullah Babar stated that Gomal University places the academic and professional future of its students as its highest priority. He emphasized that all available resources would be utilized to ensure the timely and effective resolution of legitimate student concerns, including internship-related matters. He further added that the university administration would continue taking practical measures at every level to promote student welfare and provide quality opportunities for hands-on professional training.
