The Punjab government is set to present its budget for the upcoming fiscal year in the Provincial Assembly tomorrow afternoon. Punjab Finance Minister Mujtaba Shuja-ur-Rehman will table the budget, which is expected to have a total outlay of around Rs5.3 trillion.
According to official sources, the government plans to allocate approximately Rs800 billion for development projects aimed at improving infrastructure, public services, education, healthcare, and other key sectors across the province.

The proposed budget also sets aside significant funds for government employees and pensioners. Authorities have recommended an allocation of Rs650 billion for salaries and around Rs505.8 billion for pension payments.
