Can you figure out the missing number?

Many people try to solve this puzzle but fail because the answer is not based on normal addition alone.

The trick is to first add the two numbers and then reverse the digits of the total.

For example:

11 + 12 = 23

Reverse it → 32

12 + 13 = 25

Reverse it → 52

13 + 14 = 27

Reverse it → 72

Now apply the same rule to the last line:

15 + 16 = 31

Reverse it → 13

Answer: 13
