Cities across Punjab, including Lahore, experienced heavy rains as torrential downpours hit parts of the region in the evening.
The day in Lahore started with intense heat, but by evening, storm clouds rolled in, bringing rain and even hail to parts of the city.
The weather office had already predicted strong winds and heavy rain for all provinces. In Nowsehra, the rain made the weather cool and enjoyable.

The rains caused challenges for commuters, while others enjoyed the cooler weather. A passenger traveling by train from Lahore to Karachi said the rain made the weather pleasant, and he hoped for a smooth journey to his final destination in Karachi.
Local authorities mentioned that WASA (Water and Sanitation Agency) personnel are working to prevent any problems caused by the rain and to ensure proper drainage. The Traffic Police are also out to manage traffic flow, as some parts of Lahore experienced traffic congestion.
The weather office advised farmers to be cautious during the stormy rains, especially since the wheat harvest season is approaching.
