Rashmika reveals Vijay’s shocking first impression

Rashmika Mandanna has recalled an amusing incident from her first meeting with her husband, actor Vijay Deverakonda.

The couple first worked together in Geetha Govindam in 2018 and later reunited for Dear Comrade in 2019. Their on-screen chemistry eventually became a topic of public interest, and they got married in February 2026.

During a joint interview while promoting their upcoming film Ranabaali, Rashmika opened up about her early days working with Vijay. She said she was relatively new to the industry at the time, while Vijay had already appeared in several films.

Rashmika recalled that she respectfully addressed him as “sir” when they first met. However, one particular incident left her surprised.

According to the actress, she was casually playing music on the set when Vijay suddenly told her to turn it off. His reaction caught her off guard, as she did not expect him to respond so firmly over something she considered harmless.

Vijay later laughed while recalling the incident and explained that he had simply reacted casually at the time.
