Real Life Hunger Games

We have always lived in an evolving Hunger Games environment where us commoners were just pieces on board to toy with. They brainwash us, feed us, starve us and eventually kill us. By “them” I mean the group of oligarchs who control the world with their unlimited power and wealth. They start wars and send their own civilians onto the battlefield, drop bombs on women and children while their governments and private companies profit off of it. The wars they have started recently decide the oil prices which in turn decide the fate of billions of people on separate ends.

They buy us and sell us. May it be the African farmers being paid a few pennies for their labour while corporations make hundreds of billions of dollars off of them, may it be a large proportion of our population drinking water mixed with dirt while Nestle wastes tonnes of fresh water everyday. The United States voting food to not be a human right explains the ideology of what they tend to believe in. Starving and crying children fighting and begging for food at the Gaza border hovering over one another is a representation of the games they like to enjoy.

Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump see an Albanian Island during their vacations, and suddenly they are in talks with the Albanian government to build a resort there which helps us visualize how they never came across the concept of being in limits or ever having to take accountability.

Moreover, Peter Theil funding the whole political start-up of JD Vance, or Israeli billionaires funding Trump’s election campaign is where their priorities lie.

All of this is nothing new, this is what has always happened at every point of time once someone was given autocratic powers. Teenage girls being sold to Ottoman kings and soldiers, the thousand year old tradition of Bacha Bazi in Afghanistan, Europeans colonizing half of the world, the concept of Slavery, the honor killing of girls still present to this day, all of this is leads back to deeply rooted human immorality.

It never mattered if you were born in any era of modern human history. We were all  just pawns especially in this day and age where our brains can easily get persuaded by anything shown to us. Hitler is seen as a controversial figure but Netanyahu is welcomed and celebrated for the same crimes. Gandhi supporting and fighting racism and colonization in India also referred to the Black with racist comments and regarded them as being beneath the social hierarchy. Every human has selfish and hypocritical tendencies which tend to affect the lives of millions being ruled.

Even in Pakistan a girl will be killed if she doesnt cover herself but an imam will be pardoned for rape. The government will keep taxing the poor to spend that money on their private jets. The world had its first trillionaire in 2026 but an average person earns a few hundred dollars and is on the verge of homelessness. All around the world fancy parliaments are built but their laws only apply to common people. The rule of law never existed. From the Pharaoh, to Marie Antonie to Netanyahu, nothing ever changed and neither will it ever change. They make their own gods and think of themselves as the messengers and we just serve as their sacrifice and satisfaction.
