Peshawar: Rescue services have issued an alert to deal with any emergencies during the recent rains.
According to Dr. Mohammad Ayaz Khan, the Director-General of Rescue in Peshawar, Rescue personnel’s leaves have been cancelled and additional life jackets, boots and essential items have been provided to the administrative authorities of various districts. The authorities have also been instructed to keep all heavy machinery ready on time.
Dr. Mohammad Ayaz Khan further explained that special teams are continuously monitoring the water flow of rivers including the Kabul River and other water bodies.
