Rumer Willis files emergency custody request amid clash with ex Derek Richard Thomas

Rumer Willis has filed an emergency request asking a judge to keep her former partner Derek Richard Thomas’ visits with their three-year-old daughter, Louetta, supervised. The latest filing adds another tense chapter to the former couple’s ongoing custody battle.

According to court documents reported by TMZ, Willis claims Thomas has repeatedly violated custody orders and demonstrated what she considers unsafe judgment around their daughter. Willis says Thomas’ supervised visits began on June 20. She claims he completed only five and a half visits because of disagreements involving the nannies assigned to supervise his time with Louetta. Her latest request argues that supervision should remain in place because of her concerns about their daughter’s safety.

The emergency filing comes days after Thomas pushed back against Willis’ claims. In his own court declaration, he accused the actress of interfering with his relationship with Louetta and making it difficult for him to exercise his court-ordered parenting time.

Thomas has strongly denied allegations involving drug use, abuse and putting Louetta in danger. He has described himself as a loving and capable father and argued that Willis has repeatedly frustrated scheduled visits.
