PESHAWAR : CCPO Peshawar Dr. Mian Saeed Ahmad has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the tragic roof collapse incident at a private school in Dir Colony, Peshawar.
According to a press release issued on October 15, 2026, the CCPO personally supervised the rescue operation. Peshawar Police, along with rescue and other relief teams, promptly and safely evacuated children trapped under the debris and shifted them to hospitals.
Police ensured smooth traffic flow on all routes leading to hospitals to facilitate emergency shifting.
Police officers and personnel utilized all available resources at the site along with rescue teams. The school owner has been taken into custody, and a case will be registered against those found negligent.
