Security forces kill terrorist in intelligence-based operation in Balochistan’s Kech

Security forces have killed a terrorist during an intelligence-based operation in the Minaz area of Kech district in Balochistan, according to security sources.

The operation was carried out after intelligence reports indicated the presence of suspected militants in the area. Security sources said the terrorists had attempted to establish a blockade while taking two women with them.

During the operation, security forces engaged the militants in an exchange of fire. One terrorist was killed in the ensuing gun battle, while the remaining suspects may still be present in the surrounding area.

According to security sources, weapons and ammunition were also recovered during the operation. The recovered items are expected to help investigators assess the activities and capabilities of the suspected militants.

Security forces have launched clearance operations in different parts of the area to locate and eliminate any other terrorists believed to be present. The operation aims to ensure that no remaining militants can pose a threat to local residents or security personnel.

The incident comes amid ongoing security efforts in Balochistan to counter militant activities and maintain law and order. Security forces continue to conduct intelligence-based operations in areas where suspected militants are reported to be operating.

Further details about the identity of the slain terrorist and the outcome of the ongoing clearance operations were not immediately available.
