Veteran comedian and actor Sohail Ahmed has revealed emotional details about the struggles faced by comedian Allah Rakha Pepsi before his sudden death.

Allah Rakha Pepsi, a well-known Pakistani stage performer and comedian, passed away on July 6, 2026, after suffering a heart attack during the recording of a television comedy programme.

Sohail Ahmed recently paid tribute to the late artist and described him as a gifted performer who had complete command over comedy and stage acting.

He said Allah Rakha Pepsi was a self-respecting and independent person. Despite facing financial challenges, he never depended on others or asked for support.

Sohail revealed that Pepsi was going through difficult personal circumstances and was deeply worried about his daughter’s situation.

He said family issues had caused him significant emotional stress. According to Sohail, Pepsi often remained concerned about problems related to his daughter’s marriage.

Sohail Ahmed recalled that he later learned about a divorce involving Pepsi’s daughter around the time of the comedian’s burial. He said the news was extremely painful and added to the emotional burden surrounding his final days.

The veteran actor said Allah Rakha Pepsi had also been dealing with heart-related health problems. However, he was not willing to undergo treatment and continued his professional commitments.

During the recording of the comedy programme, Pepsi suddenly collapsed after suffering a heart attack and could not survive.
