Taylor Swift reacts to CMA nomination and teases awards appearance

Taylor Swift has reacted enthusiastically to her nomination at the 2026 Country Music Association (CMA) Awards and hinted that she will attend the upcoming ceremony.

The pop superstar shared her excitement on Instagram Stories on Thursday, September 10, after the CMA announced the nominations for this year’s awards.

Swift reposted the CMA’s nomination announcement and jokingly wrote, “Looks like I haven’t yee’d my last haw. Thank you CMA!”

The singer also appeared to confirm her presence at the ceremony. “See you there Nov 18,” she wrote in another post.

Swift’s song “I Knew It, I Knew You” has earned a nomination for Single of the Year at the 60th annual CMA Awards.

She will compete in the category against Ella Langley’s “Be Her and Choosin’ Texas,” Lainey Wilson’s “Somewhere Over Laredo” and Cody Johnson’s “The Fall.”

The nomination adds another major milestone to Swift’s career as she continues to expand her musical footprint beyond pop.

“I Knew It, I Knew You” was released on June 5, 2026, as part of the soundtrack for Toy Story 5. Swift co-wrote and produced the track with longtime collaborator Jack Antonoff.

The song draws inspiration from Jessie, the beloved character from the Toy Story franchise.

Swift is one of the world’s most successful recording artists and is known for combining autobiographical songwriting with frequent musical reinvention.

The 60th CMA Awards are scheduled for November 18, 2026, at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee.

Country music star Lainey Wilson is set to host the ceremony. The event will air live on ABC, stream on Disney+, and become available on Hulu the following day.
