California: Tesla, the American multinational automotive and energy company has recently laid off a team of about 40 employees.
According to international media reports, Tesla has terminated its American “Growth Continent” team which consisted of approximately 40 employees with oversight from Senior Manager Alex Ingram.
During the company-wide downsizing, Tesla has completely disbanded the marketing team formed four months ago, a move that was authorized by Tesla’s CEO Elon Musk nearly a year ago (for working on projects).
Analysts speculate that despite having minimal marketing personnel in Europe, Tesla’s decision to lay off the “Growth Team” and the continent-focused team is indicative of their intention to further downsize the company.
It is noteworthy that according to a Bloomberg report, Elon Musk currently intends to dismiss more employees from Tesla.
