The Downfall Of The Colonialism

A couple of years before an Indian origin British citizen was standing outside a company with an authority to operate and own it. This company was not an ordinary company rather than it was a company who control the entire system of subcontinent from 18th century to 19th century.

with the protocol of 125 shareholders from England and the total worth of the company was 72 thousand pounds. This was the time when Dutch, Spanish and Portuguese were dominating the market of spices from not only subcontinent but also from East Indies.

It is said that when the Dutch traitors entered into this trade, much aware than the British, were dominating the prices of spices, silk, Porcelli, tea, were already dominating the European market. With the sudden increase of price by the Dutch led the British to decide they need to have their own control on the spice trade. After the formation of this company, they also got the special rights from the Queen like they can also have the private army and judicial system. It have had never happened previously that a company can have this kind of rights.

Finally, it came up kike this in 1608, the first envoy was sent to India by the British company and the leader of this delegation was named William Howkins. He made his proposal to the kind Jahangir and tried his best to impress him by signing an agreement for the trade between India and England. His proposal was turned down by the emperor Jahangir who had already signed this agreement with the Portuguese and was getting enough taxes in an exchange. So, the first attempt ended in a total failure while after few years the Britishers made another attempt. This time they got successful and finally it turned out a new era of trade. Th Britishers soon found out the weaknesses of the local systems and they did not only concentrate their attention as a traitor but also mark themselves as a ruler. Where they were getting a lot of advantage by fixing the problems of local Rajas. There is no doubt that the cunning brains consistently progressed to interfere in the internal affairs of Indian Rajas.

1757 was of the turning point when one of the most fertile province of India, Bengal went practically in the hands of the britishers. When the Bengal was financially occupied by the britishers, the Juget Saith, what is called one of the richest persons ever for his personal interest, he supported the East India Company. What turned out as the moment of Indian history. By winning the fertile land of Bengal East India Company with the support of their local army became enough powerful that within coming next two decades they started to interfere in Delhi government, ruled by the Mughal emperors. By the wicked ideas used by the British army their slowly penetrated in all the internal affairs and this appeared to be first time in the history. Was supposed to rule subcontinent setting up by examples that how successfully they defeated the empire of Maysoor. And the great Tipu S ultan was defeated by its own traitors. This war made them practically a dominant power in south of subcontinent. Coming up to 1857 the reward made by the Indian soldiers against the company imperialism was unsuccessful we should not forget the name of all the treaters who supported British army and created a chaos of an unsuccessful revolt.

Finally, the great empire of the subcontinent which was producing the 25% of the global economy from 16th to 19th century fall in a hand of a company to decide the future of subcontinent.

Finally, the British parliament by law took over the charge from the company directly to the Queen of Britain, Queen Victoria. This brought a cause for the britishers to decide the faith of all subcontinent for next 90 years. This is my subject for today’s topic. That finally this East India Company who were behaving like a traitor in the subcontinent were taken over by the British ground. And it was the most disappoint event that for next 90 years all subcontinent was fallen in the hands of the Queen Victoria. The massive economy size of the subcontinent as I mention almost 25% of the global GDP went into hands of the Queen. But today the same company the East India Company is existing where? With the struggle of almost 4 centuries this East India Company was finally like a tea house. This also mark the ending of the Muslims rule over India for almost 800 years.

My question remains the same. That with out that local traitors who are still sitting in the parliament of Pakistan to decide the faith for 250 million people. That the obliged community after the 1857 is practically is still one of the ruling elite in Pakistan. They were practically awarded thousands of acre of land and they are still one of the dominating figure to rule on us. I must say it is the worst shape of democracy.

Where do we have the practical implementation of a diplomatic circle till today. Is that we are still with that particular Nawab, Shah, and Wadera systems that was supported by the East India Company? That East India Company have practically been finished. We area still on the same mode of the government where the ruling class is dominating our democratic system. I still hope that even after the death of East India Company we can bring our system into a real democracy.
