RAWALPINDI, August 31, 2026:A ceremony marking the 104th anniversary of the Turkish Armed Forces Victory Day was held at the General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi on Monday, with Turkish Ambassador to Pakistan İrfan Neziroğlu attending the event as the Guest of Honour.

The ceremony was organised to honour the historic significance of Victory Day and to acknowledge the courage, dedication and sacrifices of the Turkish Armed Forces. The occasion also provided an opportunity to reaffirm the close and longstanding ties between Pakistan and Türkiye, particularly their strong defence and strategic cooperation.

Addressing the gathering, participants highlighted the deep-rooted relationship between the two brotherly countries.
