GUJRAT: The University of Gujrat (UoG) has inaugurated a Seerat-un-Nabi Book Exhibition at its Quaid-e-Azam Library, bringing together rare manuscripts, biographies and literary works on the life and teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

Chief Librarian A.R. Sheikh, accompanied by library staff and administrative officials, received the vice chancellor at the inaugural ceremony. Dr Zahoor formally opened the exhibition by cutting the ribbon and visited different sections displaying books and other literature related to Seerat-un-Nabi.
Addressing the ceremony, Mr Sheikh said the study of Seerah was not confined to historical inquiry but offered guidance for intellectual development and moral strength.
He said the teachings and example of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) provided an important framework for the younger generation in addressing contemporary intellectual and social challenges.

He said access to authentic literature helped students deepen their understanding of Islamic teachings while contributing to character-building and academic growth.

The inaugural ceremony concluded with prayers for the progress of the university and the country.
Additional Registrar Malik Shehzad Azeem, Dr Muhammad Yousuf, librarians Khadija Munawar and Liaquat, besides members of the library staff, attended the event.
