Vaneeza Ahmed, a former star model in Pakistan, dominated the fashion scene for years with her looks. Not only did she excel as a model, she also gained success as an actor, mainly doing supporting roles.

She recently appeared on Wasi Chaudhry’s show, where she had spoken about a controversy that made her receive criticism from Ayeza Khan’s 11 million followers. On the show, Wasi Chaudhry asked her if she had ever considered how many photographs she had ever taken in her life. In reply, she mentioned that she would not reply, mentioning that she had once replied to such a question and landed in trouble.

She clarified that a person had asked her the same thing before, and she had told her that during her time, other people took their pictures, unlike the current generation, which loves taking theirs. She further clarified that she never liked taking photographs, not even of her food.

Vaneeza additionally revealed that she was on set with younger female actresses such as Qudsia and Mira Sethi working on the drama Kuch Ankahi when this happened. She was talking to them about creating a TikTok video where they were acting as an animal and said that they never got any time to shoot pictures. She remembered watching one of the actress’s videos where the actress began with the alphabet letter “A” and also had 11 million followers. She also mentioned that the profile of the actress was completely packed with photos.

Nauman Ijaz instantly replied, “Oh, I know! That’s Ayeza Khan!” Vaneeza made it clear that the actress she mentioned wasn’t really Ayeza because she was acquainted with Ayeza Khan personally. But the fans of Ayeza misinterpreted the line and thought she was saying something bad about her.

Following the interview, Ayeza Khan’s 11 million followers began criticizing her, thinking she had demeaned their favorite actress.

Previous on Nauman Ijaz’s show, he had inquired of Vaneeza why she and some other stars were not seen actively on social media. She replied by expressing that she and others of her kind were not the kind of people who deformed their faces for selfies or shared all about their everyday routines, like what they ate and drank, on social media.

She further stated that the previous day, she had seen a Pakistani actress with 12 million followers and thought of checking her page to know what had made her so popular. Nauman Ijaz added that the actress was Ayeza Khan. Vaneeza continued that the whole account of the actress was nothing but pictures.

She ended by stating that she didn’t even know how many followers she had, since her sister had set up her social media account and her niece posted her pictures. She only logged into social media from time to time to post Quranic passages or sayings.
