Addressing the singer, Kohli said:
“You write songs from the heart. The song of yours that has impacted me the most is Winning Speech because it reflects the difficult journey you have gone through.”
He added:
“I see reflections of my own relationships and journey in that song. I also lost my father at a very young age, as happened in your life, which is why this song is very close to my heart. I often listen to it before stepping onto the field to play a match.”
