Would Khloé Kardashian ever pursue an acting career? She reveals her plans

Khloé Kardashian has opened up about whether she could eventually step away from reality television and pursue acting. As she promotes her new Hulu series The Girls: A Khloé Kardashian Project, the reality star has revealed where she currently stands on the idea of taking on scripted roles.

During a recent conversation with The Hollywood Reporter, Kardashian was asked whether acting could become part of her future. While she has spent nearly two decades in front of television cameras, she appears to be approaching the possibility carefully rather than rushing into Hollywood acting. 

Kardashian is no stranger to television. She first became a household name through Keeping Up With the Kardashians, which premiered in 2007 and followed the lives of her famous family. She later continued that journey with Hulu’s The Kardashians, giving viewers an inside look at her personal life, motherhood and business ventures. 

However, scripted acting would represent a very different challenge. Reality television allows Kardashian to appear as herself, while acting requires performers to step into fictional characters and follow a script. Her sister Kim Kardashian has already explored that path, most recently taking on a major scripted role in Hulu’s All’s Fair.

For now, Kardashian’s focus remains firmly connected to unscripted television and producing. Her latest project, The Girls: A Khloé Kardashian Project, premiered on Hulu on August 21. The six-episode reality series follows her close group of friends as they navigate motherhood, relationships, careers, business and life in the public eye. 

Unlike The Kardashians, the new series places Kardashian’s friends at the center of the story. She serves as an executive producer and helps bring their individual experiences to viewers. The show features longtime friends including Malika Haqq, Khadijah Haqq-McCray, Nicole Williams English, Olivia Pierson, Natalie Halcro and Yris Palmer. 

The project also demonstrates Kardashian’s growing interest in working behind the camera. Rather than simply appearing in front of viewers, she is taking a creative role in shaping the stories being told.

That experience could potentially give her more opportunities in television and entertainment in the future. Still, whether that eventually leads to acting remains uncertain.

For now, Kardashian seems comfortable building her career around reality television, producing and her business ventures. But with her family continuing to explore different areas of Hollywood, fans will undoubtedly remain curious about whether Khloé could someday follow them into scripted entertainment.

If she does decide to take on acting, it would certainly mark a fascinating new chapter in her already extensive television career.
