Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has taken immediate notice of the tragic roof collapse at a tuition centre in Lahore’s Kahna area that claimed the lives of several children.

Following the incident, the chief minister sought a detailed report from the relevant authorities and directed officials to determine the causes and circumstances that led to the accident.

Maryam Nawaz expressed deep sorrow and grief over the loss of 14 children in the incident and extended her condolences to the bereaved families.

She also prayed for the departed souls and wished a speedy recovery to the injured children.

The chief minister instructed health authorities and hospital administrations to ensure that all injured children receive the best possible medical treatment and facilities without delay.

The tragedy occurred when the roof of a tuition centre suddenly collapsed while children were attending classes inside the building.

Punjab Health Minister Khawaja Imran Nazir confirmed that 14 children had lost their lives in the incident.
