HARIPUR, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: As demand for technology-related skills continues to grow, 500 students in Haripur have completed a free two-month digital skills training programme designed to help young people explore employment, freelancing and career opportunities in the digital economy.

The programme, organised by RankingGrow, concluded with a ceremony at RankingGrow Tower in Haripur, where students celebrated the completion of training in artificial intelligence (AI), digital marketing, cybersecurity, video editing and graphic design.

The initiative aimed to equip participants with practical knowledge that could help them compete in an increasingly digital job market and develop professional skills without the financial burden of expensive training courses.

The closing ceremony marked the largest event organised by the company to celebrate the completion of its training programmes.
Speaking at the event, RankingGrow Chief Executive Officer Ammad Ali said the organisation had provided training to more than 12,000 individuals across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

“We have provided free education and skills training to thousands of individuals in Pakistan. Our focus is to help young people acquire practical knowledge that they can use to build their careers and become financially independent,” he said.
Ali highlighted the potential of digital marketing and technology-related professions to create new opportunities for young people, particularly in areas where access to professional training may be limited.
He said practical education could help students adapt to changing employment requirements and participate in the expanding digital economy.
More Than 30 Graduates Secure Opportunities

One of the notable outcomes of the programme was that more than 30 students from the graduating batch had secured jobs and paid internships at the company.
These opportunities are expected to help selected graduates gain workplace experience, apply their newly acquired skills and develop a clearer understanding of professional requirements.
For young people entering the workforce, practical experience can be an important step towards building a career in technology and digital services.

Hassan Nisar, founder and CEO of Metrix Pakistan, also addressed the ceremony, emphasising the importance of making technical education accessible to students who cannot afford costly professional courses.
“Providing free training gives young people an opportunity to learn skills that can help them pursue employment and professional development,” Nisar said.
He noted that organisations involved in skills development could contribute to expanding access to digital education across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Nisar also acknowledged the collaboration between Metrix Pakistan and RankingGrow, describing cooperation between organisations as important for youth development and skills education.
The completion of the programme highlights the role that free, practical training initiatives can play in preparing young people for emerging career opportunities.
With hundreds of students completing their courses and dozens moving into jobs or paid internships, the initiative offers a local example of how digital skills education can connect learning with employment prospects.
