Abdul Hannan celebrates 30th birthday with Makkah pilgrimage

Pakistani singer-songwriter Abdul Hannan marked his 30th birthday in a deeply meaningful way, choosing a pilgrimage to Makkah over a traditional birthday celebration.

The singer turned 30 on September 4 and shared glimpses of his spiritual journey with his followers on Instagram. Posting a series of pictures from Makkah, Hannan expressed gratitude for the opportunity and revealed that he had prayed for everyone during his visit.

The singer wrote that this was how he chose to enter his 30s, making the occasion more personal and spiritual rather than celebrating with a typical birthday gathering.

Abdul Hannan has become one of Pakistan’s most recognised young music artists in recent years. However, his journey into the music industry was not something he had planned from the beginning.

Before pursuing music professionally, Hannan studied computer science at the Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology. After completing his degree during the COVID-19 pandemic, he had an engineering job opportunity waiting for him in Berlin.
